It’s hard to know what to do right now. As a small business, we are our community. And while I’ve watched in admiration as so many in our industry have stepped up to provide masks and supplies to hospitals, we are a smaller operation, and our factories here in LA have temporarily closed in compliance with the mandates for California. 

So over the past few days I have been brainstorming other ways Helena Quinn can be of support. Like many small businesses, we are not in a position to donate direct cash, but what we can do is use the products we have to generate funds in a creative way. 

I keep thinking of the famous quote by Mr. Rogers: “Look for the helpers”. Right now, some of those main 'helpers' are our Doctors, Nurses, Health Care Workers, and First Responders. They are working long hours under extreme conditions, putting their lives and the lives of their families at risk for the greater good. 

I am moved beyond words by their heroism. But they need to be taken care of as well. And one way we can do this is by providing these mentally and physically exhausted warriors with nourishment.

S O  H E R E ' S  T H E  P L A N:

This is not revolutionary. We can’t create the personal protective equipment that they so desperately need, or manufacture more ventilators for them. But if this moment in time has taught me anything so far,

it’s how simple the things that really matter in life are. And how important it is that we take care of those who are taking care of us.
